What to Expect from Our First Meeting
When we meet, I’ll ask about your goals for therapy, why you’re seeking help now, the therapist traits that work best for you, and your budget and scheduling needs. You’ll also have a chance to interview me so we can determine if we’re a good match. The two biggest predictors of positive therapy outcomes are shared philosophies on change and a strong connection.
Step 4: Set Up Regular Sessions
After our initial meeting, we’ll arrange a regular schedule or plan that aligns with your goals. You can also self-schedule and make changes to appointments with at least 24 hours notice without penalty.
