Building a More Fulfilling Life with Individual Therapy

What is Individual Therapy?

Individual therapy allows you to explore how you are organized on the inside so you can change your life. There is nothing wrong with you. Your psyche is skilled at creating beliefs, behavior patterns, and dreams to make sense of and adapt to a complex world. Most of these operate below the surface, and our work together will help you tune in and relate to yourself in new ways, allowing for meaningful change. I am here as your encouraging collaborator and curious co-pilot.

Through trauma-based techniques like Internal Family Systems and EMDR, body-centered approaches, cognitive therapy, and systemic methods such as STAIR and Process-Oriented Psychology, we'll explore how you've structured your thoughts, feelings, and relationships to adapt to your environment. We'll navigate these layers together, experiencing and practicing new ways of relating to yourself and the world around you.

Identifying Patterns

These patterns may manifest as depression, anxiety, constant reactivity, and anger. Perhaps you find yourself overworking, people-pleasing, or burning out regularly. Or, you might be making choices that don’t serve you well, whether in relationships, your career, or your social circles.

Even when life throws curveballs, you'll learn to face them in a more centered and empowered way, transforming challenges into opportunities for growth.

In Individual Therapy, You Will:

  • Enhance Emotional Awareness: Increase your ability to physically feel and interpret your emotions, understanding what they signal about your needs and situation.

  • Improve Relationships: Develop more skillful and compassionate ways to relate to yourself and others.

  • Live Authentically: Identify your personal values and unique talents and embrace living in alignment with them.

  • Adapt to Life's Challenges: Learn to accept life's difficulties and respond flexibly rather than impulsively.
